Snowplow Sam (Ages 6 & Under)
Our preschool skating program introduces young skaters to the ice through four fun, progressive levels. Kids learn essential skills like falling and getting up, marching across the ice, and building balance and coordination — all in a safe, playful environment that boosts their confidence.
After completing Snowplow Sam, skaters can advance into Basic Skills or explore a specific skating discipline.
Basic Skills (Ages 6+)
Basic Skills builds a strong foundation for new skaters through six progressive levels. Instructors use fun, engaging activities to teach the core fundamentals—balance, coordination, agility, and speed—while introducing essential techniques like forward and backward skating, stops, edges, crossovers, and turns.
After completing the program, skaters are ready to pursue any path they choose, from figure skating to hockey to speed skating. Basic Skills sets them up for success on the ice.
